I accidentally clicked on a phishing email a couple of years ago, and my Apple ID got hacked. Ever since, I've been unable to sign in because the password and recovery number were changed by the hacker. Now, I can't download or update apps, and I can't even log out of my Apple ID! Since I don't have the original receipt for my phone, I'm stuck and can't submit an Activation Lock Removal Request. Does anyone know how I can manually remove my Apple ID or factory reset my iPhone? I'm open to any methods, even the unconventional ones!

If you have your original proof of purchase, you can request Activation Lock removal through Apple. Once that's done, you'll need to restore the phone and set it up with a new Apple ID. Unfortunately, you won't recover the old account, but at least you'll be able to use your device again.
Unfortunately, you can't remove the Activation Lock without your account access. Anyone claiming they can is likely just trying to take your money. You really need to have access to the Apple ID to sign out. It's a tight security measure.
Looks like I'm completely out of luck then... Thanks for the reply!
It's frustrating, I know! But Apple requires a password to sign out to prevent unauthorized access. If you can't verify your details, your best bet is to erase your device using a PC or Mac. Just know that if 'Find My' is enabled, you’ll still hit the Activation Lock and won't be able to regain access without proof of purchase.
I think they should offer better support for these kinds of situations. If your account is hacked, why not help you log out?

What if I have the recovery key? Does that help at all?
