How can I factory reset my locked Android tablet?

Hey, I need some help! I recently bought a super budget Android Go tablet for just $3, but it's passcode locked. When I try to access the recovery mode by holding down the power and volume down buttons, I can see a menu that says 'Select boot mode.' It gives me options to select recovery mode, fastboot mode, or normal mode, but when I try using the volume up button to select recovery mode, it doesn't work. The volume down button seems to select, but it's not letting me boot into recovery mode at all. Is there any way I can factory reset this tablet? It has a USB-C port too, in case that makes a difference. Thanks!

It sounds like you're trying to get into recovery mode, which is the right approach. Try highlighting 'Recovery Mode' using the volume down button, then press volume up to select it. If that doesn't work, check if something else is highlighted by default. You might also need to press and hold the power button while tapping volume up—this varies between devices. Just a heads up, if this tablet is linked to a Google account, you won’t be able to fully reset it without knowing those details.

That method didn’t work for me either. I ended up just getting stuck on the same screen.
