How can I find a trustworthy collaborator for my website idea?

I've got this really great idea for a website (at least I think it's great, haha) and I want to get it built. I don't have any web design skills, but I do know how I want the site to be set up. My question is, how do I find someone to collaborate with who won't just steal my idea? Should I be paying them for their help?

Hey, just an honest opinion - ideas don’t carry a lot of weight by themselves. The real challenge is completing the project! Maybe look into learning some basics of web development yourself; having a project you're excited about can motivate you to push through the tougher learning moments.

Totally agree! Learning the basics will definitely help you communicate better with any potential collaborators.

You know, it’s common for people to claim they have the next big thing. For many developers, it’s about the execution and market strategy, not just the concept. Focus on finding the right partner who understands that and don’t let fear of idea theft hold you back!

Honestly, don’t stress too much about someone stealing your idea. Most ideas are pretty common and what's important is how you bring it to life. If you really want support, you should definitely offer payment instead of hoping to find someone who’ll work for free.

If you're serious about protecting your idea, you might want to consider having them sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Just keep in mind that, usually, ideas aren’t as valuable as you might think. It’s the execution that really counts!

Exactly! Executing well is what really makes the difference.
