How can I find out who purchased licenses in the billing portal?

I'm trying to figure out if there's a straightforward way to see who actually made purchases in the billing portal. For example, someone acquired 25 Teams Room Pro licenses, and I'd like to know who that was. Is there a specific view or log that shows the individual responsible for these transactions?

In Microsoft 365, you won't find that info directly in Azure. You might want to check the Audit Logs instead. They should have records of who made the purchases. It's a good way to track those transactions!

Also, if you work with a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), they often have logs of purchasing activities. It might be worth asking them for those details!

I don't have a CSP, so I guess I'm out of luck there. Thanks for the tip!

There might be something in the activity or audit logs where your licenses are managed. It'll show some details about who clicked to buy those licenses.

If you're looking for detailed spending info, consider using Tags in Azure. They help categorize and track spending, which can ease the process of identifying who bought what.
