My son recently updated to Windows 11, and now his monitor isn't being detected at all. We've gone through various HDMI and VGA cables, tested different monitors, and tried all the usual rebooting and cycling methods, but nothing seems to work. We can't roll back the update or access the BIOS since we have no display to work with. What are some potential fixes other than taking it to a shop for a fresh reinstall? We don't have a backup since the computer came pre-installed with Windows in December. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Here are the specs: GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTV 3050, OS - Windows 11 Pro, Asus motherboard, Intel Core i7 4th gen.

One option you could try is performing a system restore to roll back your PC settings to a time before the update. You can usually access the restore points during the boot process even without a screen, but it can be tricky. It might help to look up how to do this using keyboard shortcuts or recovery options if you can manage it! Good luck!

I appreciate the suggestion, but how do I do that if I can't see anything on the screen at all?
