I'm experiencing some serious overheating with my Intel 14900K while playing Battlefield 2042. Despite undervolting the CPU, it jumps to 95-100°C when running the game, even at only 50-70% usage, which is concerning. This only happens with this game, so I'm looking for solutions or advice on how to manage these temperatures. My setup includes a Corsair 5000D Air Flow case with ten fans and a 360mm Corsair AIO, with fresh thermal paste applied. Here are my specs: 14900K, MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI, EVGA 3090, and 64GB DDR5 RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about remounting your cooler? Also, do you have a contact frame? Since you're mainly gaming, consider switching to a 13th or 14th gen CPU; the 600k or 700k chips might actually give you better performance with lower temps, since many games don’t fully utilize the extra cores of the 14900K.
I've been dealing with this for over a year now. Honestly, I’m at the point where I might just build an AMD rig and make this one a cool paperweight. I haven’t swapped CPUs because I don’t have any spares.
