I've been having some strange problems since yesterday. My antivirus, 360 Total Security (which I'm not sure is reliable since it came pre-installed), alerted me that my DNS settings were changed. I thought it was just a mistake since I'd accessed the router's page the day before. However, I did some digging and it seems I didn't change anything myself. After a while, I started having trouble browsing; pages took a long time to load or gave me connection errors even though I was connected to the internet. Occasionally, I get messages about unsecure locations or cancellations of operations, and it's confusing because it sometimes claims I'm on pages like Facebook or Instagram. My mobile device works fine, so it seems like it's a computer issue. I've already run a full scan with 360, emptied my DNS cache, and tried a few fixes, but nothing has worked. I'm looking for advice on how to solve this. Thanks!

It might also be that a fake root certificate is messing with your DNS. Honestly, if you suspect malware, it's probably safest to back up your files and do a clean install of your OS. You don't want to risk it getting worse!
First off, I suggest running a full system scan with the built-in Windows antivirus. Sometimes it can catch things that third-party software might miss. Did you notice if it found anything?
Let me know if it helps or if you’re still having issues after that!
I just assumed 360 was enough, but I’ll try the Windows one now.
