Hey everyone! I'm looking to switch from Windows 10 to Lubuntu but I'm facing a challenge. My laptop has about 28 GB of disk space, but most of it is taken up by Windows, leaving me with only around 4 GB free. I've already uninstalled some preinstalled software and OpenOffice, but I still need to figure out how to create enough space for the Lubuntu installation. Any advice on what steps I can take to clear up space, or can I install it with the little space I have?

You might want to boot from a USB drive with the Lubuntu installer. During the installation, there’s an option to erase the entire disk if you're okay with losing everything on Windows. This will certainly give you ample space.
Honestly, if you're dealing with only 28 GB, it's hard to have Windows on that. Make sure to back up anything important. After doing that, just create a bootable USB with Lubuntu and let it wipe the disk—you’ll be good to go!
If you’re considering an external SSD for the installation, that’s a solid choice! They’re faster and not too expensive these days, but remember, you'll still need a USB drive for the installation media.
