Hey everyone! I've been working on a PC build over on part picker and I'm looking for suggestions on how to enhance it or make it a bit more budget-friendly. Here's the link to my current build: [https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/NpXNDj](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/NpXNDj). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If your goal is to cut costs, swapping out the CPU cooler for a Thermalright Phantom Spirit and getting a more affordable B650 or B850 board can help save some cash. You might not need all that extra performance right now!

Consider switching to a B650 or B850 motherboard instead of the pricier X870 unless you absolutely need the extra USB ports. Also, while the Noctua cooler is great, you can find something similar for much less than what you're spending.

Do you really need 64GB of RAM? For gaming, 32GB is usually plenty. The CPU cooler you're looking at is expensive; you can achieve the same cooling capacity for a fraction of the price. As for your motherboard, if the X870 isn't essential, a cheaper B650 or B850 would suffice. Also, consider the storage—two 2TB drives might be more cost-effective than a single 4TB. Lastly, regarding the case, there are quality options for less, and the PSU could be upgraded if you're leaning towards high-performance GPUs like the 9800x3d and 9070xt. Here's an alternative list for a better price: [https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/VxnrLc](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/VxnrLc). You could save around £500 and possibly upgrade to a 5080!

Thanks for that suggestion! The 64GB is mainly for hosting some game servers that require a lot of RAM while also playing. I thought moving to an ATX case would help, as my current mATX feels cramped. Any tips on motherboards? I only really came across the Steel Legend with good reviews. And do you think the 5080 is worth the price jump for those extra frames over the 9070xt?
