Hey there! I just bought a smart TV for my outdoor space, and while it's not too far from my router, I'm struggling with buffering when I try to stream using my Fire Stick. The signal seems fine when I'm inside, but outside it's pretty frustrating. I reached out to my ISP and they did some checks that improved the connection indoors, but the outdoor TV is still having issues. Would getting a USB dongle WiFi extender help fix the buffering problem? Just for reference, my broadband provider is Sky, I have a Walker smart TV, and there's a WiFi booster about 20 feet from the TV. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you're serious about streaming, running an Ethernet cable directly to the TV would be your best bet, especially if you're trying to stream in 4K. I get that this might not be the easiest solution for everyone, but it really does eliminate buffering issues. You could also consider relocating your router or booster to see if that helps.
Yeah, I’m not too keen on the cable idea. I was hoping moving the WiFi booster might do the trick.
