I'm trying to figure out how to install Linux on my Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, which is currently running Windows 8. Windows feels too heavy for my device since it only has 2GB of RAM, and I think switching to Linux would make it better for my schoolwork. Can anyone provide links or suggestions to help me get started with this installation?

It's worth noting that the installation process is similar to that of other PCs or laptops. Many tutorials out there might cover those steps, but since you mentioned not having a USB port, that's where things might get tricky. You might need to look into other methods like using an SD card or a network installation.
Your tablet is going to require an ARM-based OS that's compatible with tablets. You can check out this site for some good options: https://technobursts.com/linux-for-tablets. That should help you find a suitable Linux version!
If you're looking for specific guides, you might find something useful here: https://daduke.org/linux/yoga.html. It's worth giving it a try!
You might want to check out the migration page on the wiki. It has a lot of tips about switching from Windows to Linux. Also, search for "migrating" on the forum for even more info. Just a heads up: only use root when absolutely necessary, and make sure to verify the checksums of your downloaded ISOs!
Yeah, that's what I'm really confused about since I can't use a USB drive.
