I'm having an issue where my PC got stuck in the BIOS and didn't have any boot options, so I installed Windows 11 onto a USB drive using WinToUSB. The good news is that it worked! However, Windows 11 only runs from the USB. I can't use my mouse to navigate, and if I remove the USB drive, I lose control over everything. I really want to install Windows 11 directly onto my hard drive so I don't have to rely on the USB drive anymore. What should I do?

There’s a solid way to install Windows from your USB. Here’s a helpful video that walks you through creating a bootable USB and installing it to your internal drive: [Check this out](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2DT-ZVm8Yo). Also, it might be worth asking a friend with a working Windows setup to help create the bootable USB for you if possible.
You should create a bootable USB with the Windows 11 installation media. You'll need a working computer for this. Visit the Microsoft website to download the Media Creation Tool. After that, once you have the bootable USB ready, plug it into your PC and change your BIOS settings to boot from the USB drive. This way, you can install Windows 11 directly onto your hard drive.
Definitely go for a bootable USB installation. You can get the installer from [Microsoft's site](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11). Be sure to change the boot sequence in your BIOS settings so your PC recognizes the USB. During the installation process, you'll be able to pick which drive to install Windows on.

What if I need to format my hard drive first? Does that delete everything?
