I'm trying to help my dad get into Star Citizen, but he only has 16GB of DDR5 laptop RAM right now. I currently have 32GB of DDR4 in my PC, and even that struggles with the game. We've spent a couple of days searching online for 32GB DDR5 RAM, but everything from the trusted brands is really pricey. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a good deal on this type of RAM in Canada?

You're going to struggle to find good prices on RAM; it's pretty ridiculous right now. You might want to keep checking back as prices can fluctuate, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for a deal.
Have you considered whether it might be his GPU causing performance issues instead of the RAM? Laptops tend to have GPUs that are a generation behind their desktop versions, even if they share the same name.
Honestly, RAM prices are high everywhere right now because of the demand. There's no special place to find it cheaper, unfortunately.
