How can I keep my room cool while gaming on my PC?

I've got this bulky Acer PC and I notice that after about half an hour of gaming, my room turns into a sauna. My air conditioning isn't really cutting it since the thermostat is in a separate room. In winter, I could just open the window to let in some cool air, but it's summer now and that's not an option. I'm considering getting a standalone AC unit that I could vent out through my door, as my window isn't suitable for any designs I've found. What do you all think? Any alternative solutions you've found that could help in this situation? Thanks!

Honestly, the most effective way to deal with this is to move the heat source. If you can’t vent the heat out, consider relocating your PC to another room entirely! It helps a lot.

Using a box fan could really help circulate the air in your room. Also, see if you can improve the efficiency of your PC components; that can make a difference.

I can try out the box fan, but I usually keep my door shut. I need my PC running at max performance for more than just gaming, so I’m not sure if that’s feasible. I was also thinking of making a custom exhaust attachment for my AC that could fit under the door; might be a bit far-fetched though. My window is a casement style, so I'm not sure if a vent hose would even work.
