I have a bulky Acer PC that really heats up my room after about 30 minutes of gaming, turning it into a sauna! My air conditioning isn't helpful since the thermostat is in a different room. During winter, I could just open the window to let in some cool air, but with summer here, that's not really an option. I'm considering a standalone AC unit that vents heat out through my door since I can't use my windows. I'm looking for any suggestions or alternative solutions that have worked for others. Thanks in advance!

The best way to handle this is to decentralize the heat. If you can’t get the heat out of your room using fans or AC, you might want to consider moving your PC to a different room altogether. It might sound drastic, but it could solve your problem!
Using a box fan can really help circulate air in and out of the room. Also, consider making your PC components more efficient. Venting an AC out your door may not be very effective though—do your windows not open at all? There are portable AC units that can vent through a window too, as long as it opens a bit. That could be worth looking into!
I'm hesitant about the box fan since I generally keep my door closed. The PC is also maxed out for reasons beyond gaming. I did think about making a custom exhaust for the portable AC to slide under my door, but I wonder if that's too impractical since my casement window opens outwards.
