I've got a bulky Acer PC, and after just 30 minutes of gaming, my room becomes uncomfortably hot. My air conditioning isn't cutting it since the thermostat is located in another room. In winter, I can just crack open a window for some fresh air, but it's summer now, and I need alternatives.
I've considered getting a standalone AC unit that can vent the heat out through my door since my window setup isn't ideal. I'm looking for any suggestions or other solutions you've found effective for this issue. Thanks!

Consider undervolting your CPU and GPU if possible. If that doesn't help enough, investing in that AC might just be your best bet. Also, capping your FPS could reduce load, so you're not pushing your system beyond what's necessary!
If the heat is an issue, think about relocating your PC to a different room and using long USB/HDMI cables. It’ll keep the warmth out of your main space while you still enjoy gaming!
In my gaming office, I keep the air flowing with a ceiling fan and a small desk fan that blows warm air out. Plus, a vent booster helps pull more cool air into the room. It really helps manage the temperature!
