I've been noticing that my CPU is running at high idle temperatures, and I'm wondering if it might be due to airflow issues or if there's something else I need to check. My current setup includes a Ryzen 9 7950x3D sitting around 55°C, and my RTX 4090 is at 40°C, with everything else below 39°C. While the GPU temperature seems fine, I'm concerned about the CPU. I'm using a Corsair case (model: NZXT H7 FLOW) with three 120mm exhaust fans on top, three 140mm intake fans at the front, and an unknown RPM exhaust fan. The CPU cooler is a Noctua NH-D15 with dual 140mm fans. Any advice on how to optimize my cooling would be appreciated!

You might want to adjust your fan curves to make sure they lower the idle temps. Sometimes they just need a little tuning to kick in at lower temperatures, but if noise is a concern, I understand wanting to keep them quiet.
First off, consider changing the thermal paste on your CPU; it can make a significant difference in thermals. Also, if you haven't already, try flipping the top two fans so they exhaust air more efficiently. This switch could improve airflow dramatically!

Thanks for the suggestion! Right now, I'm trying to balance performance with noise, so I'll have to think about that.
