My computer won't let me reinstall Windows, so I'm stuck on Linux. I really miss the classic look of Windows 7 and want to make my Linux desktop resemble it as closely as possible. Any tips on how to do this?

You might want to look into the B00merang Project for themes that replicate Windows 7 aesthetics. Just remember that Linux has different desktop environments, so trying a different one might help you get an even closer look!

Zorin OS has some fantastic themes that mimic Windows XP and Windows 7. If you're really keen on achieving that look, it might be worth switching distributions!

Linux Mint Cinnamon is a great option since it already has a layout that's similar to Windows. You can also check out KDE Plasma for a similar experience right away. If you're using Mint and still want to tweak things, you should definitely look into some themes for a closer match!

Yeah, I'm using Mint too, but I still miss the Aero look and feel of Windows. It's not quite the same without those default profile pictures!
