How Can I Maximize My Time Learning Web Development?

I'm currently a college student with an associate of arts degree and a lot of time on my hands until I start working again in May next year. I'm diving into web development for two main reasons: I enjoy the process of building and creating things, and I aim to develop a tool that could eventually earn me some money while helping others. I'm following the full stack roadmap on roadmap.sh, but I keep hearing advice from different sources suggesting I should just focus on learning Python instead. I want to make the most of my study time now since I'll have less of it come May. How should I maximize my learning during this period? Am I on the right path?

Stick with what you've started! Web development usually revolves around HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Python does have its place, especially for backend work, but for web dev itself, focus on those core languages and learn the basics thoroughly first either way!

I got started with HTML and CSS too but didn't feel confident after tutorials. That's why I'm thinking of building a solo project before moving into JavaScript. What's your recommendation on which stack I should focus on?
