I'm looking for ways to mirror my cellphone's screen onto my laptop, which is connected to a projector for a play I'm in. Unfortunately, there's no WiFi available at the theater, and while I've tried using the Quickshare feature, it's not functioning well. I'm open to any suggestions on how to share the screen effectively, so any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like you'll definitely need WiFi for most screen mirroring options. But what about setting up a hotspot using another phone? That could work as a temporary solution!
Another option could be connecting your phone directly via HDMI. You can usually use the Windows + P shortcut to extend or duplicate your display after connecting.
You might give AirDroid a shot! It sometimes works well for screen mirroring without needing traditional WiFi, just ensure both devices are on the same network.
Honestly, I'd recommend just bringing a portable router with you. You don't need an internet connection; it will act as a wireless access point. Screen mirroring apps can work well this way without the hassles of battery drain or poor signal from a hotspot.
Have you thought about recording the screen on your phone and then sending that video to your laptop? Just a thought!
They actually want to show it live to the audience, so that won't work.

Hmm, do you really think that could be reliable enough?
