How Can I Optimize Cooling in My PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on how to set up my cooling system since I'm not too knowledgeable about airflow and fan placements. Currently, I have a H6 Flow RGB case with three front fans, a Phanteks Glacier One 360D30 X2 CPU cooler installed on top with fans facing down, plus two additional 140mm fans at the bottom and my GPU (RTX 3060) has three fans as well. I'm not sure which direction the fans should be blowing for the best airflow and if any of the fan placements are incorrect. I'd appreciate any advice, and let me know if you need pictures of my setup!

Anyone know if the Fractal Design R2 fans are set to reverse? I looked it up but couldn't find anything.

You can leave your H6 Flow RGB fans as they are; they should be bringing in air from the side just fine. As for the Phanteks cooler, it sounds correctly installed with fans facing down, which will let the air pass through the radiator and out the top. Just ensure your bottom fans are set to intake, showing the back or bracket side upward!

Thanks for clarifying! Just to double-check, the Phanteks fans should be blowing air out of the case, right? They seem to be facing inwards now.”

For optimal airflow, you typically want your case fans to intake air from the front and bottom, exhausting it from the top and back. Having more intake fans can help reduce dust accumulation too!

Totally agree! Just make sure that all your fans are set correctly for intake and exhaust. It might be tricky to tell at first, but usually, you can feel the airflow direction easily.

Got it! So, should I have the fans at the bottom blowing upwards? I want to make sure I'm not messing up the airflow with my GPU's fans.
