Hello everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to prepare myself for interviews at top companies. I'm not just talking about brushing up on skills for specific jobs, but more about the overall preparation process. I've come across various platforms like HackerRank and LeetCode, but I often find myself using brute force methods to solve the exercises. I've heard there are better strategies or patterns that can help tackle these problems more effectively. What do you suggest? Have any of you followed a specific preparation strategy? Thanks in advance for your input, and I hope you all have a great day!

Just out of curiosity, do you have any prior work experience, OP? It might help in shaping your preparation if you do!
Yup, I have 6.5 years of experience. But I feel like what I do daily is quite different from what they ask in interviews. I mean, I’ve never even had to reverse a binary tree at work, yet that’s something I need to know for interviews. So I'm trying to get in the right shape for the job market.
For interviews at top companies, they really emphasize using platforms like LeetCode to gauge candidates' skills. I found a great GitHub repo filled with common FAANG interview questions. It's super helpful for getting a sense of what you might face during the actual interviews!
