I've been having a really rough time lately—every single account I own has been getting hacked, from Steam to Apple! Thankfully, I've managed to recover over 10 accounts so far and have set up Google Authenticator for added security. But I'm seriously worried that I'm going to lose one of them permanently. What steps can I take to stop the hacker and secure my accounts for good?

I faced something scary like this too! I found my neighbors using fake MITM wifi to steal accounts. I reported it and had to backup evidence. Just remember, if targeted, it’s really tough because even with security measures, they can clone MAC addresses and cause chaos. Just be vigilant and keep track of your accounts, and definitely reach out to your ISP.
Even if you're being careful, sometimes they can still get in. Keep an eye on everything—you never know!
If you want to be really safe, consider doing a secure erase of your PC and a factory reset on your phone. Be sure to reinstall everything from scratch. Backup only safe files and scan documents thoroughly before reopening. And importantly, after you reset, use a clean device to change every password to something strong, unique, and enable time-based 2FA through apps like Authy or MS Authenticator. Passwords changed on infected devices should also be changed again, as malware could still have access to them.
First off, make sure you're not using the same password across multiple accounts. That’s a common mistake! Also, do a malware scan on your devices to check for any security breaches. If you aren't already, definitely enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever you can!
I'm using different passwords now, scanned for malware, and have 2FA on my accounts. It's super frustrating!
Unfortunately, you can’t completely stop hackers; the best you can do is change your passwords and add layers of security. Always opt for strong, unique passwords for each account and enable 2FA. It’s crucial for protecting your accounts!
That's wild! I had no idea it was possible to be targeted like that. Stay safe!
