How Can I Protect My Gaming PC from Ocean Air While I’m Away?

Hi everyone! I'm heading out for 15 days and my gaming PC will be left in my room, which is about 1 km away from the ocean. I'm a bit worried about humidity, salty air, and dust, even though I've had it for three years without detecting any salt damage. I'm not sure if my room's natural protection has worked so far or if it's just been luck. I'm considering putting some silica gel packs inside the case and covering it with a cloth while I'm gone. Since my room has no windows and I plan to keep the door closed, will that help, or could it make airflow worse? Anyone with experience leaving their PCs in similar conditions—how do you keep your setup safe from moisture and dust when you're away?

Honestly, I don’t think it's a huge issue while you’re away. Everything in your room will be exposed to the same air, whether the PC is running or not. If it’s been fine for three years, it should be fine for a couple more weeks. If the silica gel packs help ease your mind, go for it, but I don’t think they’re strictly necessary. Just don’t worry too much!

Exactly! I mean, unless you're worried about the fans not running, but honestly, it sounds like the door being closed will keep it safe enough.
