I just cleaned my PC and took off the stock CPU fan cooler, but now I'm having trouble putting it back on. It uses screws with springs, and no matter how much pressure I apply, I can't seem to get it secured properly. I'm really frustrated and would appreciate any help!

I saw your drive link for the images. It looks like the backplate is missing entirely, which is why the screws won't secure anything. You’ll need to find that backplate to reinstall the fan properly!

First, double-check to make sure the backplate is aligned properly against the back of the motherboard. If it’s not sitting flush, you might not be screwing into anything. That could be why it's not tightening up!

Also, just in case, your backplate might have fallen off when you took the cooler out. You might want to check underneath the motherboard or casing to see if it’s still there.

Sounds like you might need to send some pictures of the setup. There’s a chance you could have stripped the screws or removed a component you didn’t need to.
