How can I protect my phone from being hacked by my brother?

I'm worried that my older brother might have hacked my phone. He recently told our mom which number I chat with the most on WhatsApp, which is concerning since he shouldn't have that information. I also discovered an email account that's linked to both of our devices, but it doesn't back up any WhatsApp messages. I'm trying to figure out how he managed to get this info and what steps I can take to protect myself in the future. I checked my WhatsApp for linked devices, and none are showing up, plus my brother and mom don't physically have access to my phone.

First off, changing your passwords is a must! Make sure you use strong ones for everything. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you haven’t done that yet; it's a great extra layer of security. Also, check for any unknown devices linked to your accounts and remove them. Lastly, unlink any suspicious accounts. That should help you secure your information!

It sounds like your brother could be using social engineering to gather information. Make sure to review your privacy settings on every app and avoid sharing info that could be exploited. If you already checked for devices linked to your account, you’re on the right track. Just keep an eye out for any unusual activity!
