A few months back, I made some posts in a porn community on Reddit that I'm not very proud of. I deleted my account after a while, but I never got around to deleting those posts. Shortly after, the community was banned. Today, I decided to search my username on Google, and I found my old posts. While clicking on the links shows that I can't see the actual content due to the community being banned, the titles and community name are still visible in search results. I'm worried about the possibility of my friends or partner coming across them. Is there a way to have these search results removed? I heard that Google removes references after about 100 days, but it's been more like 150 days. Any advice would be super helpful!

Honestly, if it's been over six months, it's possible people might have moved on and forgotten about it. But I get why you're worried—it's super embarrassing! If it's really bothering you, I'd recommend reaching out to Google support. They might be able to help with removal requests for old content, especially since the community it belonged to is gone now.
To be honest, I'd just give it some time. Google does take a while to update their search results, and with the community being banned, it should eventually fade away. Just make sure you're careful about what you post in the future!
I get your concern. Has it really been 150 days? That's kinda odd. Normally, I hear they clear things up after 100 days. You could try refreshing your search or clearing your browser cache and searching again to see if they’re still popping up.
You should try to remember that the internet is a big place. A lot of things get forgotten after some time. It's still a good idea to try contacting Google if it really bothers you. Just make sure you do it politely, they might take you more seriously that way.
What kind of posts were they? If it was just a sexting community, it might not be too scandalous in the grand scheme of things. But I understand wanting to keep that private. If Google hasn't removed them yet, you might have to wait a bit longer, or try asking them directly.
They were just a bit personal and I wouldn't want anyone I know to stumble upon them, you know?
That makes sense. I just want to take precautionary steps. Thanks for the suggestion!
