I've really grown to dislike AI in search engines, and today I noticed that Google added a new "AI Mode" tab next to the "All" tab when I searched for some dinosaur info. Is there any way to completely remove or disable this "AI Mode"? I'm fine with using browser extensions or any tweaks in Firefox since I've already taken care of other AI features. I just want to get rid of this one since it bothers me. Just to clarify, I'm not asking about the AI Overview, I've already dealt with that using an extension; it's specifically this new AI Mode I want gone!

You can add `&udm=14` to your Google search URL to bypass AI Mode, or use wrappers like udm14.com that automatically do this. Give that a try!
If you go into Chrome settings, you can set that as your default search engine to use it automatically for every search you do.

I do appreciate Google for tools like Maps, so I’m not ready to cut ties completely. Just looking for a way to tone down the AI features!
Another trick is to just add "-ai" at the end of your search queries; it can sometimes help you avoid AI-related results!
I've heard about that one, but I'm mainly focused on removing the AI Mode tab itself. Just want a clean interface!
Honestly, your searches are still processed by AI no matter what, so you might just have to deal with it. It looks like AI is here to stay!
You’re probably right, but I really just want to minimize its presence around me. It makes the browsing experience feel weird.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll set that up in Firefox, but I just gave it a shot and the AI Mode is still showing up. It's not the AI Overview I’m trying to get rid of—just that pesky AI Mode next to the search tabs.
