Hey everyone, I'm a university student and I recently finished an AWS course. However, I'm having a huge issue logging back into my AWS account because I need to cancel my services. I was charged $35 recently, which is a big hit for me since I rely on government benefits.
I set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) but can't get past it even though my information is correct. This has me really frustrated! How is it possible that MFA, which is meant to secure accounts, is now locking me out? Is there any way I can contact AWS support for help? I've got proof that I'm the account owner and need to fix this urgently.

Hey! I totally get your frustration. You can reach out to AWS's MFA support team without needing to log in. Just fill out this contact form: http://go.aws/contact-mfa. They should be able to help you work through the MFA issues and regain access to your account.

Thanks for the tip! I actually managed to fix it myself. It turned out my password was incorrect, so once I changed that, my MFA worked fine. But now, how do I go about getting a refund for the charge I didn’t authorize?
