I have a 240GB M.2 SSD (not NVMe), and I installed Windows 11 on this drive while a 512GB SSD was connected via SATA. However, when I try to boot from the 240GB SSD without the 512GB SSD connected, I don't see any Windows Boot Manager in the BIOS or UEFI. It seems that during the installation, the EFI partition was created on the 512GB SSD. Is there a way to create a new EFI partition directly on the 240GB M.2 SSD so that I can boot into Windows 11 without needing to connect the 512GB SSD?

You can create a new EFI partition that's around 1 GB and then follow some repair steps to install the necessary files. There's a guide available that walks you through the process of fixing the EFI bootloader on Windows. Just search for "repair EFI bootloader on Windows" to find those instructions.

Does this method automatically detect my Windows 11 installation?
