I'm looking for a way to have my internet connection shut off at a certain time every day on my Windows 11 laptop. Previously, I used an outlet timer for my router, but since I live in a rural area, it cuts off my cell phone signal. I'm considering a cell signal extender but they're quite expensive. My thought is to find a way to disable the laptop's WiFi adapter at a specific time, either through Windows settings or a third-party app. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Many routers have features that let you schedule internet access per device by its MAC address. Could you share what kind of router you're using? That could really simplify things for you!
Most modern routers allow you to schedule access for specific devices through their parental control settings. Check your router's manual for details. If that option isn’t available, you could use Task Scheduler to run PowerShell commands to disable your WiFi card at the times you want, but I admit that might feel a bit complicated. Just curious, what’s your reason for wanting to limit your internet access?
Using the router's scheduling option sounds like the best plan. I want to reduce my internet time, and creating some obstacles (like logging in) will help me stick to it.
It's important to clarify your goals—are you looking to eliminate WiFi signals completely, or just restrict internet access? Knowing what you prefer will help pinpoint a solution that works for you.
I prefer no WiFi waves, but I need to use WiFi for calls and texts. My main goal is to limit internet access.

I have a GigaspireBlast u4 GS2028E.
