How can I share my project without getting auto-deleted?

I've been active in this space for about six months and recently created something I'm excited to show off. However, every time I attempt to post, whether it's during designated times like showcase events or not, my posts get auto-deleted. The bots claim my account is too new, which doesn't make sense since I've been here for half a year. They also mention needing more karma, but how can I earn karma if I'm unable to post? Do I need to keep commenting for weeks to gain the algorithm's favor, or is there a trick I'm not aware of? Additionally, are there any developer-friendly communities that don't require 1000 karma just to post? I've developed a Chrome extension and I need some experienced developers to help test it, but all my attempts at asking are met with deletion.

Getting banned after posting is tough. Just focus on engaging with others; reply to their posts and see if you can build some karma there. Once you've established that, give posting your project another shot!

It's called Karma Locking! It prevents new accounts from posting if they haven't gained enough karma or if they were created recently. It's a protective measure against bots and spammers, so just keep that in mind.

Check out communities like sideproject; they're often more lenient. Just be sure to follow their rules. You should also think about detailing your project through a GitHub readme or wiki! It can help outline what you need from testers.

The karma situation can be really frustrating! What worked for me was making genuinely helpful comments on posts. Just share your insights or answer questions when you can. You'd be surprised at how quickly karma can add up this way, and those comments often stick around longer than posts do.
