Hey everyone! I'm passionate about video games and have felt a growing urge to try making one before it's too late. However, I have zero programming experience and I get easily overwhelmed by technical challenges. As a 2D artist, I'm leaning towards using Godot as my game engine—it seems well-suited for beginners and has a supportive community.
Recently, I started exploring the Harvard CS50 course, and although it's exciting to begin understanding programming concepts like binary, I still feel so lost. I would love some guidance or reassurance from anyone who's been in a similar situation. Are there any resources or tips you can recommend for someone who's just starting out and feeling a bit stuck? Even a few words of encouragement would mean a lot to me, as I'm battling a lack of confidence due to my age, my full-time job, and health challenges. I really want to take this step and try creating something solo. Thanks in advance for your support!
