During my time studying, I took a course on OS fundamentals where I created a quirky driver for a mouse, but I'm eager to start fresh and learn properly. I've been diving into the Linux GitHub repository and the documentation, and I'm keen to become a contributor to the community after gaining a solid understanding of how everything works. I've read in a comment that the best way to learn is by building Linux from scratch on all of my devices. I currently use a MacBook Pro and have an old Dell G15 that dual-boots Windows and Ubuntu, which I mainly use for gaming. One important tip is to take regular backups and try out your changes in a virtual machine first. It’s super important to understand every command before hitting Enter!
