I'm currently running Linux Mint 22.1 with the Cinnamon desktop environment, and I'm using X11 as my display server. I'm interested in making the switch to Wayland since I want to use Hyprland. My system has an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX and an Intel HD Graphics 620. Can anyone guide me through the process of switching? Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I'd advise against it. Wayland isn't fully compatible with Mint yet, especially concerning NVIDIA drivers. There's a chance your setup might not work correctly with Wayland on your GPUs.

Wayland may work fine with certain setups, but from my experience, it can be hit or miss. I'd suggest you think twice and possibly run a test in a VM before committing.
