Hey everyone! I accidentally clicked on a link from a Reddit post that led me to a website flagged as malicious (Global Bulletin 24, rated by Norton SafeWeb as 'Malicious / Malnet'). I'm using iOS and have some concerns: 1. Is there a way to check if any malware was downloaded on my device? 2. Since the site opened in the Reddit app's browser, does that protect me in any way? 3. Are there any trustworthy services or tools out there that can help me detect any malware that might have activated from visiting this site? Thanks a lot!

For iOS, the good news is that nothing can be installed on your device without your permission. Apple has pretty tight security, so you're likely safe. Just keep an eye on your apps and if something seems off, you can check your app permissions as well.
Hey, if you come across another malicious link, definitely message modmail to let us know so we can take care of it. It's frustrating when bad sites slip through. Generally, these sites aim to steal data or install unwanted software. Always be cautious with suspicious links!
Thanks for the heads-up! What kinds of info do these sites usually try to grab?
