How Can I Transfer Windows from an Old Drive to a New NVMe Drive?

I have an old Kingston 128GB drive that's been slowing down my PC because it's nearly full, and I've just bought a much faster 1TB Kingston NVMe drive. Is there any way for me to transfer all my data, including the Windows operating system, from my old drive to the new one? I'm looking for the best methods available, and I hope I'm not out of luck here!

Cloning is the way to go! There are plenty of tools available to help you with that. Lazesoft offers a free non-commercial cloner that works really well. It’s straightforward—just click and clone your drive. If you find yourself needing more features, there's a professional version you can buy, but the free one should do fine for you. Just a heads-up, their support can take about a day or two to respond if you reach out to them.

Try using Macrium Reflect! It’s my go-to for disk imaging and cloning, and the free version is actually very capable. It'll make the transfer smooth and easy.

You can absolutely clone it! If you're looking for built-in options, Windows also has an image backup feature that you can use if you prefer.

Thanks for the advice! I'll give that a shot.

Definitely clone your drive! You can find several tutorial videos on YouTube to guide you through it. I recommend looking up videos from DanKamYouKnow (also called PC Kratos), as he explains the cloning process really well.

You'll just need to clone your existing drive to the new NVMe. There are lots of options to choose from, like Clonezilla, which is a reliable open-source solution that’s been around for ages. You can get it from clonezilla.org.
