I'm currently a final year BCA student from a Tier 4 college and I've completed an internship as a Software Development Engineer (SDE). During my internship, I primarily worked with a low-code platform (Zoho Automation). Now, I'm in a full-time job earning 25,000 Indian Rupees a month. However, it's been seven months since I've seriously worked on my skills, despite having a background in MERN stack and data structures and algorithms. I'm wondering if I should quit my job to focus on preparation or try to prepare while working. Any advice?

Consider learning some cloud technologies like AWS. Many employers look for cloud knowledge, especially for web development roles. Plus, getting certified can open up more opportunities if you're interested in cloud engineering.
If you're earning 25k INR, definitely don’t quit your job until you have another lined up! It's a tough market, and having stability is important while you search for better opportunities.
Quitting to prepare sounds viable. Since you're not making much now, the risk is pretty low. Plus, coming from a Tier 4 college means you'll need to put in some serious dedication to stand out, so this could be a good time to focus on that.
Just to clarify, is your 25k salary in Indian Rupees? Because that's about $272, which is quite low for an intern if you meant USD. It seems like you might have to be strategic about your next steps depending on this.
