How Can I Turn On My ASUS StudioBook H500GV If the Power Button Is Not Working?

I've got an ASUS H500GV laptop that has been experiencing some issues, particularly with a few keys that aren't working. After some digging, I found out that it's probably related to thermal problems. I've been using external devices to manage, but after a power outage, my laptop shut down completely. The catch is that the power button is integrated into one of the broken keys on the keyboard, so now I can't get it to turn back on. I've ordered a replacement keyboard, but it's on backorder for about a month. I'm wondering if there's any safe method to power it on temporarily, as I would really like to continue using it in the meantime, given that it still functions well aside from the keyboard issues.

You might want to try removing the power button keycap if you can do it gently. Sometimes, you can press the actual switch underneath to power it on.

I'm thinking of taking off the cover and trying to short it manually, but isn't that risky? I just worry about making things worse.
