My mom has a 16GB SD card for her 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe to perform a software update, but the update file size is 22GB. Is there a way to make this work? Can I delete some map files to free up space, or are there other options I should consider?

You might just need to grab a 32GB SD card. They're not too pricey and should fit your needs better for that update file size.
Honestly, I'd recommend going for a bigger SD card. The cost difference isn’t drastic, and it’ll save you the hassle of trimming files.
You could also consider checking if you can remove only certain map files, but make sure those files aren’t needed for the update!

Just keep in mind that your car may require a specific brand of card, which can be more expensive. Definitely a bummer.
