I've got several x-rays from my surgeries and I really want to check them out. The office said they would put my x-rays on a CD for $5, but I'm having trouble viewing them. They don't show up on my PS3 or my boyfriend's PC, and I really don't want to go to the library to see them. Is there something I can buy or do to actually see my x-rays? By the way, they wrote 'UOI' above the x-ray - does that mean anything?

When I've received CDs with x-ray or MRI results, they've usually included a viewer program right on the disk. So, there should be an executable file you can run to view the images. Just pop the CD in and look for that app.
You might want to check the file types on the CD. Sometimes they come with specific formats that may require certain software to open them, often on Windows.
Honestly, it might have been easier to just pay for a physical printout instead of the CD. Sometimes the digital files can be a hassle to open, unfortunately. 809263fb630
It's good practice to call the office and let them know you're having trouble opening the files. They should be able to assist you.
Exactly! After you insert the CD, wait a moment because it should prompt you to run the viewer. If nothing happens, just go back to the office and ask them to help you or even reprint the CD for you.
