My friend has been hacked through an app called Flashget Kids, which she thought was just a parental control tool. Someone she knows got access to her phone, downloaded the APK, and took control without her knowledge. The app is hidden, so she only discovered it later, and now the person has access to her data, including her camera and microphone. We haven't removed the app yet. Is there any way to identify who did this?

You might not be able to directly identify the person unless you can look into the app's connections. Since it’s password protected, discovering who installed it is tough, but checking for linked accounts or any info might help. Be cautious and consider reporting this if necessary.
Honestly, if someone physically accessed her phone, it’ll be tough to pinpoint who it was. Uninstall the app ASAP, and in the future, avoid handing your phone to people. Just a general safety tip!

I get it - that app doesn't give easy access. A linked email could help narrow it down, but first, try to see when the app was installed. If you manage to find out the install date, you might remember who was around her phone that day.
