I've managed to secure one client already, but I'm really having a tough time finding more. I'm stuck on whether I should focus on cold calls, Google Ads, Facebook groups, or something else entirely. For some context, I specialize in custom web development, so any advice on client acquisition would be super helpful!

Have you thought about leveraging social media? Facebook groups can be a goldmine for finding clients. Just make sure to engage genuinely, not just pitch your services.
One effective method I used back in the day was to physically walk around my city and visit businesses that didn't have websites. I made a list beforehand and aimed for about 20 cold visits each day. You can find potential clients on YellowPages or Google. Back then, I charged around $300 CAD for a standard website. It was a great learning experience!
People often really care about getting their pets back, maybe try connecting with local pet businesses or shelters? It might give you a unique angle to land some clients!

I considered that approach too, but I was worried it might come off as kind of strange. I guess it's still better than cold calling!
