I recently discovered that my PC has a 1 TB SATA HDD in addition to the primary 512GB SSD I was aware of. I saw it listed as Disk 1 in the task manager but can't find it in File Explorer. How can I initialize this HDD and make it accessible?

It sounds like the seller might not have assigned a drive letter to Disk 1. Here’s what you can do: 1. Search for 'Disk Management' in your start menu. 2. Look for Disk 1 and see if it shows a partition (it should be colored blue and say 'Healthy, Basic Data Partition'). 3. If it does, right-click the blue section and choose 'Change drive letter and paths' to add a drive letter.
If Disk 1 is marked as 'Unallocated' (colored black), you'll need to format it. If it says 'Not initialized', right-click on it to initialize first, then format it. Let us know if you run into any issues! It might help to share a screenshot of your Disk Management too.

For a 1 TB SATA HDD, you should initialize it as GPT instead of MBR if your system supports UEFI. It allows for larger partitions and better storage management.
