I've been having trouble with Safari on my iPhone. Every time I type a letter, old website suggestions pop up, including some I haven't visited in ages. I've tried various methods to remove these suggestions, but nothing seems to work. Can someone guide me on how to turn this off or disable it?

To clear your browsing history and disable those unwanted suggestions in Safari, go to Settings on your iPhone, scroll down to Safari, and select "Clear History and Website Data." This should remove those pesky suggestions. If that doesn't do the trick, consider also going into your browsing settings to disable Siri suggestions related to Safari. Just in case, here's a handy link to Apple's support page for more specific steps!

I mostly use my iPhone, and that worked for me! If you're still seeing the suggestions even after clearing, try restarting your device—sometimes that does the trick.

If you haven't tried it yet, check if there's any saved data or cached sites in your Safari settings. You can also look into disallowing unsolicited suggestions from websites. Each little tweak helps!

Yeah, make sure you also check under "Privacy & Security" in the settings. Those settings can sometimes hold onto more than you expect!
