How Do I Connect to Wi-Fi Using Just the Router’s Web Address and Login Info?

I just moved into a new flat and it comes with Wi-Fi, but I'm a bit confused. The only details I found are the web address, username, and password printed on the back of the router. Is that enough to connect to the Wi-Fi, or is there something else I need to find? Any guidance would be appreciated!

You typically need the SSID (that's the Wi-Fi network name) in addition to the password. The information on the back usually shows this, but if you can’t find it, it might be worth checking the router interface by entering the web address in your browser.

Try going to that web address using your phone or computer. Enter the username and password there; that should let you access the router settings where you'll find the Wi-Fi name and password.

Exactly! Once you're in, look for the wireless settings section—it should list everything you need to connect.

If the Wi-Fi is open and unencrypted, just connect to it directly. You may need to log in through that web address to fully access the network.

Another option is to connect your device directly to the router via Ethernet cable. From there, you can access the router’s settings to grab the Wi-Fi credentials.
