I'm currently using 32GB of DDR4 RAM in my system with two 16GB sticks. With RAM prices being quite high at the moment, I'm debating whether to buy two additional 16GB sticks to make it 64GB total or to replace my existing sticks with two 32GB ones. I'm mostly gaming, and I'm particularly interested in going for 64GB because of Star Citizen. What do you think is the best option?

If you choose to stick with DDR4, adding two more 16GB sticks is a solid plan. Just ensure that the new RAM matches the speed, timings, and voltage of your current sticks for optimal performance. It's all about keeping everything in sync!

Is there really a performance gap between having 4x16GB versus 2x32GB if everything else is equal? Just trying to weigh my options here.
