Hey everyone! I just built a new gaming PC using a Ryzen 7600X and a Radeon 9060XT with 16GB of RAM. I've set my motherboard to EXPO 1 to run my RAM at 6000MHz, and now I'm looking to cap my FPS for some smoother gameplay. I mainly play Rainbow Six Siege, and I'm wondering if the best approach is to run a benchmark test in the game's options and then use the Adrenaline software to cap my FPS just below the 1% low mark. What do you think? Any tips?

A good rule of thumb is to set your in-game FPS cap to match or be just one less than your monitor's refresh rate. This will help prevent screen tearing. Since your monitor likely supports FreeSync, it can help manage FPS fluctuations below the refresh rate without issues.
I have FreeSync on my monitor too. Siege has limited FPS options like 60, 144, and 240. I'll look for a guide to see how to use Adrenaline to fine-tune this. In a competitive game, maximizing FPS while avoiding drops is key for reducing input lag, right?
