It sounds like a broad question, but a good starting point is to try creating a simple neural network that can recognize letters or numbers. There are plenty of guides available online for that. If you’re more interested in building something around a language model agent, that would be a different approach altogether.

When I wanted to learn AI, my daughter helped me put together a list of topics to cover first. I ended up taking a course on data science and AI using Python on Udemy. It was really useful because you get to build multiple types of models, which gives a hands-on experience.
