Every time I start my PC, it stays on the boot screen for about 4 and a half minutes, which I timed consistently. This issue has been happening for a while. I've tried booting with just my keyboard and mouse connected, and I don't have any apps set to start up with the system. I also have plenty of storage space left. Is there something I can do to fix this?

You could analyze your startup events using some tools. There's a Microsoft tool available, but it's a bit complicated. Alternatively, you can try a simpler third-party app like Startup Timer. Often, a hardware issue, particularly with your drives, can be the culprit. Disconnect all drives except for the boot drive to see if that improves things.
Don't forget to check the health of your drives. If one of them is failing, that could be what's slowing down the boot process.
Consider running component tests in your BIOS to check for slow RAM or any failing motherboard components. It's worth a shot!
Make sure to check your startup services to see if any unnecessary apps are running at startup. Just be cautious with Microsoft services; they should usually stay enabled.
Make sure to look for a "fast start-up" option in your BIOS settings. The key to access BIOS should be displayed at the bottom of your screen during boot.
Your motherboard's CMOS battery might be dead or low, which can lead to slower boot times. Replacing it with a new CR2032 battery could solve your problem. Just reset the BIOS to defaults afterward and make adjustments if needed.
You might want to check if you have any older spinning hard drives connected. Disconnecting them could help speed up the boot time.

That's a great idea! Testing components can help identify if there's a hardware problem causing the delay.
